I write this speech in order to inform you a little bit about the hotel. The location is really nice regarding the distance between Agia Sofia,Top Kapi and all these historic places...as far as the Galata tower and Taksim square you have to take taxi or metro (it's easy and with low cost as far as the metro..) The room is same with the photos that exist in the booking and is cleaned.I would like to have less light during night time because it was very light full the light of the street but it's ok you can sleep. Last but no least, Adem the morning reception guy was the best guy that i have ever meet in a hotel (and i have visit plenty hotels because of my job..). I recommend this hotel.

- The staff of the hotel was amazing and got great tips and info - We got water bottle on our arrival ( since tap water is not potable in Istanbul ) - The bed was amazingly comfortable and big, I slept so well. - The courtyard room was quiet but I think the street rooms are too as the cars are not allowed to pass. - Free coffe and the all the time - The overall cleaning was great - The breakfast was Turkish, various and was interesting to try it out - Great value for the price. Close to the city center but not in the expensive tourist area. We enjoyed walking around. (**If you are an elderly person or having issues walking, I would not suggest this location as everyday it requires to walk up a small hill** ) -( Bonus to the cats in the garden that was super cuddly too )

I stayed for 6 nights. we take into account the location... and it is close the historic district. It encompasses the peninsula coinciding with old Constantinople😉 me as a solo traveler felt safe, comfortable. also by the sea for a walk it is easy to get across the street. Breakfast wonderful. cottage cheese! The best for me! Clean and the bed comfortable! And the bathroom, too. the pictures correspond to reality. and the view from the roof terrace🤩 and the service is nice! Ask your questions to Mr. Adem. Thanks a lot! Yes, and more transfers from and to airport IST via hotel.

We truly loved this lovely hotel, the staff went above and beyond to help in every aspect from the first moment, to the last. The location is top-notch, in the middle of the old town, so expect narrow streets full of life, small restaurants, and cafeterias - perfect for trying out the local culture. And all that is just a short walk from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Last but not least, we enjoyed the breakfast and the wide selection of local cheese and vegetables - everything was fresh and tasty.

Everything was perfect, from check in to check out. The staff was so helpful & really friendly. They answered all what we need for our trip in Istanbul. The area is central to visit by walk all the principals monuments around 15mn by walk. It was the birthday of one of our group and they bring us a cake with candles. I recommand this place where you feel welcome. Thanks again

Staff is absolutely amazing and went extra mile to help and answer all questions. Breakfast was good. Kettle and mini fridge available in the room and tea and water in lobby. Good value for money and location is close to transport and popular sights. Room was clean. Windows have good sound isolation.

Very good location, big rooms, very good breakfast. They can organize transfer from and to the airport. And staff is amazing!!! It’s really easy to collaborate with them by Whatsapp. I asked them if they could help me organize a surprise for my mother's birthday and they surprised her with a big birthday cake and send me the video for confirmation. I was extremly happy to have been chosen this hotel. I would definately chose this hotel for the next trip. THANK YOU once again for nice memories!!!!

Adem at reception was an absolute star. He helped me with so many travel arrangements and recommendations, always friendly, always with a smile on his face, it made for a lovely stay in Istanbul. The hotel is very conveniently located if you're planning to visit the bazaar and some hammans, and there's a very lively square nearby with many restaurant options that is great fun in the evenings. The rooms were a good size and very clean and comfortable and breakfast served in a lovely green courtyard.

excellent location. very helpful staff, amazing breakfast, hygienic, and great atmosphere Castillo Rojo is a true diamond. The management and staff of the hotel makes you feel welcomed and so at home. Its location is superb as it has so many eating places on its doorstep. Entertainment at the restaurants was traditional even the kids enjoyed it. My 3 kids who were 16, 13 and 5 absolutely loved it . There was entertainment for all of them and we felt like we were part of the atmosphere. The staff were amazing and arranged all our tours. They gave us tips on how to get to places faster what times were best to visit certain places. The Ertrgrul tout that they arranged included first class travel and a very helpful guide a member of staff from the hotel accompanied us which made it easy for us We had a family room which was perfect in size, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and fresh every day and the staff went out of their way ti ensure everyone had something they enjoyed. Although the hotel isn’t 5 star our experience was better than a 5 star hotel. Me and the kids highly recommend it as a place to stay for the family
